About Art by Sorelle

My name is Sorrel Hughes. Living in the Pacific Northwest, I am enchanted by the natural beauty that surrounds me every day.  This beauty inspired a vision in the summer of 2020- fox glove flowers growing out of an orca whale.  I set to work with my fineliners and crafted the first creation of my series.  I had no immediate plans to sell my art, but the outpouring of support I received for my orca made me realize I was on to something.  Other visions of this rich landscape, and its flora and fauna, began to flourish and come to life. These are my visions of the Pacific Northwest- I hope they bring you as much joy as they have brought to me.

PS- For those of you who know me as "Sorrel", not "Sorelle", I really wanted my name to be read correctly.
